“The Greensboro Symphony Guild: The Who, What and Why Behind Our Passion”
Time & Location
About The Event
Our Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers supports both financially and with arms-and-legs the otherwise underfunded music education in eastern Stokes County. Global Trekker Andrea Cudd Alemanni will explain why music education and its appreciation is important to the cognitive development of children and young adults.
Andrea is a twenty-year member of the Greensboro Symphony Guild, serving on its Board of Directors much of that time. She is currently Community Relations Chair, shining light on educational and economic impact of the arts in our community. She will specifically focus on educational programs of the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra and the Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers. This evening, Andrea will speak to these multifaceted benefits prior to COVID-19. She will also have visual and performing artists, from the US and abroad, join to share their experiences in this season of change. This is a most unique opportunity to learn how Rotarians can support artists as the new normal challenges those who inspire our spirit.
